DECICE tutorial attracted many participants
Once more, DECICE, in collaboration with the Open Edge and HPC Initiative (OEHI), organised a tutorial during the ISC High Performance conference in Hamburg. Under the title of the tutorial was “Containers everywhere – HPC, Cloud and Edge”, participants could not only learn about different container technologies, practice container building and execution, but also learn how to run containers leveraging different types of computing resources. This included cloud resources as well as HPC and resources at the edge.
About 20 people joined the tutorial, who not only mastered the core hands-on program but also challenged the tutorial team with optional additional exercises. This confirmed the strong interest in the HPC community in the topic of using containers as a means to run applications on HPC and other systems.
